This blog are writings of my own opinions and a place to capture my thoughts on a variety of topics in my 30 years of working in corporate world and just being a human.
I will be exploring mental models, frameworks and concepts that have helped me navigate this life. It’s a more healthy endeavor rather than contributing content to other platforms that only fuel all the noise that complicates my life right now. However, I am in a seson of life, both personally and professionally where I am getting to apply these concepts.
Also note, I am free-writing this. No AI Slop here. A lot of my thoughts revolve around being human and putting the work in. We were MADE to work and not take shortcuts on everything. Did I use AI to set up this site? Yup. I lacked the subject matter expertise to implement the architecture I wanted to use. Did AI write this post? Absolutely not! You will see typos, bad language and lots of idioms and culture references that will date me but I find creative, amusing and fun to write with. And that’s not something AI will ever be able to do.
With that, I have no doubt I am regurgitating content said by someone else somewhere in the history of the universe. As it’s said in advertising, ‘There are no original ideas’. So feel free to freak out and be that person who feels the obssesive need to correct anything. I am humble enough to know I don’t know everything and in this media saturated world, I probably have been subconciously programmed and yes, that means my notes may show that. Not a big deal. But I am also a fan of being able to point concepts back to original authors so I will make adjustments as I discover them. But know this… This is my personal site and I can publish what I want.
Finally, to reiterate, this IS my personal site and all of the writings here are my OWN opinion. My goal is to be truthful in my search of improving myself and my quest to enable and elevate the people and companies who are in my sphere of influence. Your ideology and mine will probably clash. That’s ok. It’s a big world and we can live in it together.
I will be working to evolve this space over time (hopefully) which will include ways to connect with others. I hope it gives you insight into how I work and think and approach life.
